I currently practice different types of bodywork in my home office. I am a Board Certified Massage Therapist with the NCTMB and a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association.
My interest in bodywork developed when I started researching prevention and wellness techniques in the early 1990's and I began by receiving shiatsu sessions. My father was experiencing early onset Alzheimer's disease in his early 50's and I wanted to prevent this disease that seemed to run in our family.
I graduated from Pennsylvania School of Muscle Therapy in 2002 (now Cortiva Institue) and I practiced massage while I worked in the insurance industrty. In 2006 I quit the corporate world to pursue a career in wellness.
Over the past 20 years I have pursued my wellness passion by reading books and taking classes in subjects like macrobiotics, different types of yoga, ayurveda, vegetarianism etc. and now Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy. I have used Young Living essential oils for over 10 years. My lifestyle has always included running, mountain biking and now hiking and I find physical activity to be an essential part of wellness.
I know that good health is not to be taken for granted; we need to work every day to keep our physical, emotional and spiritual selves healthy. Bodywork is but one component that can help us attain our best health.
I am here to help you maintain a less stressed, happy, healthful state. Please call me with any questions at 575-691-5003. I will not hesitate to refer you to someone else if I cannot be of service.
Thank you.
